Yalameh rugs are mainly woven in an around the village of Aliabad. This rug is made from lambs wool and camel hair.
The design is typical of Yalameh rugs with its diamond geometric design. The weaver has framed the central diamond shapes with a yellow/ beige colour which is also framed with a detailed border consisting of copper, red, blue and green tones.
This tribal village rug would look great in a study or a casual informal setting.
