Heriz Tribal Persian Rug Circa 1910 (Ref:N38)

A large antique Heriz Tribal rug circa 1910.

This is a rare Heriz Tribal rug dating back to the era of the Reza Shah Pahlavi in the early 1900's.

The weaver has used classical wine colours with touches of ivory to soften the palate. The rug has a strong dark blue border.

Made from wool on a cotton base using vegetable dyes ,this Heriz rug is in very good condition for its vintage. 

Some minor repairs over the years which is expected for a rug of this vintage.

A nice collectable that will increase in value over time.
